About the Alamo City Chapter
The Alamo City Chapter of Safari Club International has been proudly serving the South Texas, National, and International hunting communities for over 20 years. Our mission is to create opportunities for conservation of our natural resources through sponsorship, education, and preservation of our hunting heritage. We accomplish this by providing youth hunts, sponsoring wounded warrior hunts, and providing educational support for the next generation of conservationists with a passion for wildlife management and veterinarian studies through educational scholarships. There are many ways to get involved with what we are doing, but the first step is becoming a member.

Kevin Kaase // Vice-President
My childhood was rich with experiences alongside my father hunting at my grandparents’ ranch, instilling a profound respect for my family’s hunting legacy. My adventures have taken me across the globe, from Central Asia to the wilds of Alaska, in pursuit of exotic game. It was this deep-seated passion that drew me to the SCI of San Antonio, whose mission resonates with my core values. The emphasis on teaching the younger generation about hunting and the commitment to supporting our military are aspects I hold dear. SCI stands as a beacon for these values, championing the continuation of our hunting traditions and the rights of our community.

Trae Willoughby // Fundraising Chair
I have enjoyed the outdoors of South Texas for fifty years. Some of my very best memories are of family and friends teaching me to hunt and fish in this beautiful area with such abundant wildlife. Just as those who taught me, I also enjoy helping and teaching others about hunting and conservation. Whether it is on the Agape Ranch in Uvalde County, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, or in deep South Texas, a hunt is best when it can be shared with those just learning the sport or with those that have limited opportunities to hunt. I am proud to be a part of the Alamo Chapter of SCI and its great mission, where I help lead the Hunter’s Education and Disabled Hunter and Conservation programs.

David Bodker // Treasurer
I moved to Texas in 1999 from South Louisiana. I’ve been hunting from an early age. I have had the opportunity to hunt Africa on two occasions. My first was after a church missions trip with my youngest son Joel. The second trip was a family event with my wife Diane, my oldest son John II and my wife’s brother and his wife, Wayne and Nancy Gates. I’m married to Diane since 1974, have 5 children and 13 grandchildren! I retired from the Insurance Industry after 35 years. Alamo Chapter SCI gives me the opportunity to help others enjoy our Hunting heritage and freedoms!

Paul Bowling // Director
Paul Bowling is the President of M&P Produce Company, LC and partners with his brother in M&P Logistics, LP. Paul attended Texas A&M University in Kingsville, TX, where he studied Horticulture. While Paul and his brother haul various commodities nationwide with their logistics company, the bulk of their business is keeping HEB stocked with watermelons. Paul is an avid firearm collector and hunter. Paul maintains active memberships with the following organizations: Texas Wildlife Association, National Rifle Association, Safari Club International, and Coastal Conservation Association.

Dewey McTee // Director
As a third-generation rancher from McMullen County, TX, my deep-rooted connection to the outdoors was shaped by my family’s legacy since the 1820s and a conservationist ethos passed down from my grandfather and father. After graduating from UT and a 23-year career with Yellow Transportation, I married Kim Klein, who shares my passion for hunting and comes from a Texas Panhandle ranching background. Together, we’re committed to conservation and education, as evidenced by my involvement with coastal conservation committees and Safari Club International. We have a daughter, several bird dogs, and enjoy gun trading, appraising, and spending time on our family ranches.

Pam Dunbar // Membership Chair
As an Air Force vet from Oregon who grew up ranching and rodeoing, I’ve recently found a deep passion for hunting and fishing. Now working with the Texas Veterans Commission and studying Nonprofit Management at Our Lady Of the Lake University, I’m deeply involved in community service. I manage social media for Frontline Heroes Outdoors, help at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, and advocate for outdoor activities, agriculture, and mental health, especially for youth and veterans. It’s a privilege to contribute to something so meaningful, blending my love for the outdoors with a mission to make a difference.

David Lewis, DDS // Fundraising Chair
I’ve been blissfully married to my wife and best friend, Kelly, for 34 years. Together, we’re blessed with three children, a son-in-law, and the recent joy of a grandson! My dental career took root in San Antonio in 1994 after I stepped into my father’s practice. Before settling there, I dedicated 4.5 years to serving as a dentist in the U.S. Army. My academic journey at Baylor University and professional assignments in Georgia and Germany were significant, yet San Antonio is where I reside, with a heart that truly belongs to the outdoors.

Richard Delgado Jr. // Director
A lifelong Texan and Marine Corps veteran, Richard advocates for veterans and their families. After a decade of service, he focused on veteran reintegration, spending 15 years at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where he created Patriots’ Casa. Recognized in People Magazine and appointed to San Antonio’s Veterans Affairs Commission, he co-founded a Community Veteran Engagement Board and serves on nonprofit boards. With degrees in management and business law, Richard continues to impact veterans’ lives through dedicated service.

Marisa Snyder // Sables Membership Chair
I’m a San Antonio Texan with my husband, Tom Snyder, and two kids. I fished as a child, fell in love with hunting as an adult, and have hunted big game globally for five years. Since 2019, I’ve volunteered with Trinity Oaks, helping first-time hunters, veterans, and those with serious illnesses on dream trips. I serve on the national Sables board, lead the Alamo City Chapter, and in 2025, co-chaired the Sables convention and auction. As an SCI and Sables life member, I’m committed to preserving hunting heritage. I educate on ethical hunting and conservation and, as an SCI Alamo City board member, advocate for hunters now and in the future.
